Most of the events Mr Swing's Dance Orchestra and Dr Jazz perform at are private but occasionally the swing band and jazz band are booked to entertain at public functions. Any such engagements are listed below with the relevant contact details alongside. It would be great to see you there!

This photograph was taken one evening in July 1999 on one of the very popular Mr Swing's Summer Cruises.

One of the band's sax players ran a riverside pub in York where Mr Swing's Dance Orchestra used to rehearse. Over a hundred big band fans would gather there before boarding 'HMS Swing' for a two-hour cruise on the Ouse entertained by Mr Swing, much to the envy of green-faced landlubbers cheering from the shore. Afterwards we'd all retire back to the pub for a slap-up buffet.
